Save a Gator!  Join us on a trip   We would like to rescue these small gators in the future, from an area that is open to torture hunts, then release them to an area that is protected.   The cruel hunts are done by baiting a shark hook, then dangling the hook off a branch. The gator swallows the hook thus holding it in place by the throat or stomach until its spinal cord is severed by the hunters ax.

The alligator was almost eradicated in the 70's due to greed and fear.   The gator grows about a foot per year. When he grows to around 9 ft. he is worth quite a bit of money for all his parts. We take the gators that are between 3-7 feet and release them in nearby protected waters.

We get small bites once in a while, but the gators are too small to do much damage.

Gator captures are not everyones idea of a winter vacation, but we look foward to this time after battling wasp and hornets for 6 months. We live on a house boat on 100,000 acre swamps for a few days and nights.
	We have room for a few brave souls each year, but no room for whiners. This is not a comfort trip for the average American wanting a king size bed at a Ramada Inn. If you can handle the thought of  a cottonmouth sliding on board while your sleeping, then we'll consider you as a guest.
Beetles have a high protien factor, but should only be eaten under extreme hunger.

We capture these small gators from the waters then take a photo of each gator.

We use large beam lights to spot the eyes in the waters, during the day we explore the islands for nature at its best!

We find large spiders living in their webs on the swampy islands. They taste a bit like chicken...we'll let you decide for yourself.
